Filming with Railways

The Ministry of Railways is one of the key ministries of the Government of India, responsible for overseeing Indian Railways—the world's fourth-largest railway network. It is entrusted with the planning, development, operation and maintenance of railway services, infrastructure and policies across the country. The Ministry is committed to enhancing passenger and freight services while ensuring safety, modernization and the adoption of advanced technologies. With respect to Foreign Nationals, Executive Director (Information & Publicity), Railway Board is the competent authority to give permission for shooting at railway locations, whereas Chief Public Relations Officers of the concerned Zonal Railway is the competent authority to give shooting permissions to Indian Nationals.
